It is the mission of the Social Services of P.PORTO to execute the policies of school social action, aiming to guarantee conditions of equity in the access to higher education, especially to the most needy students, as well as the provision to students of quality services that contribute to their academic success.
In the pursuit of this mission, the SAS of P.PORTO promote the close monitoring of students in various areas of action: scholarships and emergency aid, food, housing, health services, psychology and social counseling, cultural knowledge, sports practice, among other supports inherent to an active social policy.
The social action of P.PORTO intends to be an innovative organization, focusing on the students' interests, enhancing the unity of objectives of the social action policies within the P.PORTO's community.
