The dynamics of Social Responsibility of organizations have assumed increasing relevance in the institutional context.
Today, it is a mandatory requirement for an organization to reflect and take care of the impacts of its existence, maximizing the positives and nullifying as much as possible the negatives. The ethical urgency of the present encourages us to make an assertive and transversal change in the role of academia in society as well as in professional and scientific training, research, development and service delivery.
Each organization is called upon to fulfill its commitment to the community it serves, and the Polytechnic of Porto (P.PORTO), as a Higher Education Institution (HEI) responsible and aware of its mission, promotes and encourages a set of initiatives that are achieved:
. in a democratic, transparent and accountable executive;
. ethical guidelines in the processes of management, organization and training;
