The Master in Digital-Legal Practices aims to provide a multidisciplinary vision of the Information Society, positioning itself at the intersection between legal and computer sciences.

The multidisciplinarity of the course is embodied in an ambitious, pertinent and stimulating curricular plan that combines teachers, specialists and subjects from both areas of knowledge that are indispensable to today's challenges.

Aimed at students with a degree in legal or computer science areas, it intends to endow students with competences that enable them to:

1) understand the bidirectional relationship between the legal system and the Information Society;

2) understand to what extent legal regulations shape the resources and services of the Information Society;

3) understand how new technologies, tools and digital methodologies can be used by science and legal professionals to improve their processes, namely efficiency, transparency, security and automation.

In view of the wide range of legal areas that communicate with the Information Society, this course focuses on three specific areas, namely:

1) the protection of digital privacy and personal data;

2) cybercrime anda digital forensic investigation;

3) e-commerce or, in a broader sense, the digital marketplace.
