MSc: 2 years ( 120 ECTS units ) Portugal 2020 and the Strategic Plan for Transports and Infrastructures renews the importance of Civil Engineering. Crucial to the success of these modernization agendas, civil engineers will apply new tools and practices to deliver sustainable construction and revitalization projects. With the MSc in Civil Engineering, ISEP trains engineers with specialized knowledge to design and manage construction, conversation and urban renewal projects. Students can choose from four fields of expertise: construction management, constructions, infrastructures and structures. The programme focuses on new technologies, materials and construction techniques. To strengthen a practical perspective and real-world orientation, students are challenged to solve case studies throughout the course and can develop their final project in working environment. Recently, students presented studies on artworks numerical and experimental analysis, implementation of BIM 4D and 5D and the application of geosynthetics in geotechnical structures. Some students earned national and international recognition in competitions like SIKA Awards 2011 and WEX 2015. Schedule Students can choose between daytime and evening classes. Daytime Schedule: Monday to Friday, 16:10-20:00. Evening Schedule: Monday to Friday, 18:10-23:30. Partnerships In recent years, students developed their final project in companies like Porto Vivo - SRU , Newton, DST , Efacec , SOPSEC , SIMRIA , Águas do Douro Paiva , Iperplano , Noraqua , Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente , among others.
