MSc: 2 years ( 120 ECTS units ) Chemical Engineering is leading advances in environment, energy and quality issues. The ability to work chemical reactions and complex molecular systems allows us to develop new materials, products and processes that increase the quality of life and industrial competitiveness. With the MSc in Chemical Engineering, ISEP trains engineers with specialized knowledge to face the challenges of rational use of energy and the protection of the ecosystem and natural resources. The course targets industrial innovation and allows students to choose from two fields of expertise: Energy Optimization in the Chemical Industry and Environmental Protection Technologies. The programme focuses on the development of advanced skills concerning processes integration and optimization, chemical reactors, applied thermodynamics, biological processes and transport phenomena. Over four semesters, students interact with research projects and case studies, developing the ability to analyse, plan and implement new technologies for problem solving. In line with an applied knowledge perspective, 70% of students have developed their final project with industrial partners or research groups. In recent years, they conducted projects on energy integration solutions for the petrochemical industry, soil remediation technologies, biodiesel production and new materials for the polymers and ceramics industry, among other examples. Schedule Students can choose between daytime and evening classes. Daytime Schedule: Monday to Friday, 14:10-23:30. Evening Schedule: Monday to Friday, 18:10-23:30. Partnerships In recent years, students developed their final project in companies like Galp , RAR , Grupo Simoldes , Unicer , research groups such as CIETI , GRAQ and Biomark and erasmus mobility with international partners University of Southern Denmark , Universidad da Coruña , Avans Hogeschool and Politecnico di Torino , among others.
