This Radioncology Postgraduate course aims to increase the specialization of Health professionals, or other professionals and related areas, in the specific area of ​​Radiotherapy, due to the alteration introduced in Higher Education in the area of ​​Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies.

The objectives of the course presented are as follows:

- To assign specific and personalized knowledge in the Radiotherapy and Oncology area, especially in the specific area of ​​Clinical Dosimetry and in the area of inovation and research in medical Biotechnology;

- To qualify candidates of tools essential to the diversity of competencies demanded by the markets and specificities of clinical practice, especially in view of the introduction of new treatment techniques and new technologies and equipment;

- Introduce new concepts and adapt skills, for national and international labor competitiveness;

-Invest resources and apply knowledge to new areas of technology innovation and basic research.

You can apply for the course of study:

a) Students and graduates in the Health Sciences area or in other areas whose curriculum demonstrates an adequate basic scientific preparation;

b) Other professionals who have a school, scientific or professional relevant curriculum for the course in question and who are active in the area of Non-Conventional Therapeutics;

c) Other health professionals considered from the areas related to radioncology such as doctors, nurses, medical physicists, biomedical engineers, biologists and related areas;

d) Undergraduate students in the areas of Radiotherapy, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and related areas that have already completed 180 ECTS.
