The course aims to:

- Consolidate the skills acquired in the intervention in Cardiorespiratory patients;

- Update knowledge on new cardiorespiratory intervention protocols in acute and chronic respiratory failure in adults and children;

- Evaluate and analyze respiratory physiotherapy strategies in specific contexts according to the oxygen transport model;

- Analyze the evaluation findings to determine the capabilities of the patient with Cardiorespiratory dysfunction;

- Understand the biological, physical and behavioral sciences that support Cardiorespiratory (dys) function;

- Contribute to the development of respiratory physiotherapy, through the creation/implementation/dissemination of new knowledge and new practices.

Can apply for access to the study cycle: a) Holders of a degree in Physical Therapy or legal equivalent. b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree in Physiotherapy, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the Bologna principles by a State that adheres to this Process. c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree in Physiotherapy by the Technical¬Scientific Council of the ESS. d) Holders of an academic, scientific and professional curriculum in Physiotherapy, which is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the Technical-Scientific Council of ESS.
