This postgraduate course intends that students acquire training in data science with application in the health area, in order to enable the acquisition of general and scientific skills, as well as technical and professional skills.
It is intended that this training offer allows:
- Develop skills for collecting, processing and analyzing health data.
- Learn about Data Science applications in healthcare, making use of practical and real problems in this area.
- Improve the ability to work as a team in Health Data Science projects.
- Understand the ethical and legal issues involved in the collection, use and storage of health data.
- To develop skills for presenting and communicating health data analysis results.
