BSc: 3 years ( 180 ECTS units ) Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary approach that defines customer needs, plans, develops and analysis systems that transform concepts into high quality products and services. It focuses on creating and managing process development structures that meet market needs and enhance the competitiveness of organizations. With the BSc in Systems Engineering, ISEP trains professionals with classic engineering skills (electrical, mechanical and chemical) and a solid background in computer tools, applied mathematics and specific management skills. The course was designed in partnership with AEP , the biggest Portuguese enterprise association, and follows CDIO international best practices, emphasizing the ability to conceive, design, implement and operate. The learning process has a strong practical component and students are encouraged to develop technical skills and a creative, problem solving and entrepreneurial mind-set.
