The strategic repositioning of P.PORTO, started in 2014, led to the transformation of ESEIG into School of Hospitality and Tourism and the creation of the Superior School of Media Arts and Design.
ESEIG prioritizes the know-how, the entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to constantly adjust to applied research and provision of services to the community, supported by excellent resources and close links with local businesses
Founded in 1990 and oriented to the training of executives in the areas of management and technology, this school also aims to establish solid links with the socio-economic environment and to promote the sustainable development of the region.
The school services comprise academic areas, human resources, financial, information management, technical and scientific support, quality, external relations and communication and development support.
Since 2015 up to now, Hotel Operations courses are being offered in real contexts. The Porto School Hotel, the first five-star school-hotel in Portugal, is a space of laboratory teaching model, using integrated training and innovative teaching and learning methodologies. Always considering the importance of employability. And above all, right on top of the river Douro.
