Teachers and students of the Degree in Web Information Technology and Systems (TSIW) at the School of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD) attend the largest European technology event taking place from 4-7 November at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
ESMAD's presence is based on the general cooperation protocol between the school and startup the IOTECHPIS - Innovation on Technology, Unipessoal LDA, a development and innovation company in the field of new technologies in search of innovative solutions, such as web applications and / or mobile, in response to challenges social problems.
Several students and graduates of TSIW contribute to the growth of this startup, presenting solutions to be developed by the company. This year, its presence at Web Summit will highlight two new ioSolutions:
1. ioGuest - Integrated and digital management of visits, meetings and rooms;
2. ioAttend - Mobile phone attendance management anywhere and anytime (a solution that will soon be tested at P.PORTO and ESMAD, having been born from a degree project).
IOTECH is one of 75 startups supported by the Portuguese Government and will be entitled to a stand on November 6th. Get to know the startup, its products and the ambassadors of the TSIW course better next Wednesday, the 6th, between 9am and 5:30 pm at stand A529.
