The Universities of the Future (UoF), coordinated by Porto Design Factory (PDF) of Politécnico do Porto is an innovative project based on Education 4.0 paradigm in Higher Education, concentrating in the same space several partners, from public institutions, and companies.
Co-creation lab of new methodologies, the UoF represents an integrated model of multidisciplinary training, focused on developing skills required in a changing world. The potential for more assertive cooperation between companies, higher education institutions and R&D units, is designed to challenges that the country seeks to overcome in this "fourth industrial revolution".
The main goal is to highlight the importance of a more robust articulation in the development of relevant teaching-learning processes for the current and future labor market.
On July 4, the UoF will be presented at the Tech@Portugal event at the Customs Center of Oporto, where Portuguese technology and innovation institutions will be present.
Organized by the National Innovation Agency and under the theme of Knowledge to the Market, Tech@Portugal is an opportunity to know what has been done in Portugal in the transformation of knowledge into innovation. Conferences and demonstration spaces - where successful cases developed by interface centers, clusters, collaborative laboratories and companies - as well as an innovation stage will be part of the program.
