Center for Innovation in Engineering and Industrial Technology (CIETI)
CIETI is a research centre hosted at P.PORTO’s Engineering School and formally recognized by FCT, the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. CIETI aims the promotion of applied research for the design and development of new products, processes and systems that contribute to innovation in the industry.
CIETI includes three research groups (LABORIS, NBIN and NEPA) with various relevant national and international partnerships. The group's activities are divided into three lines of work: biomaterials and nanotechnology; energy and environment; process engineering; remote laboratories and testing and debugging systems.
