Center for Rehabilitation Research (CIR)
CIR is a research unit, formally recognized by FCT, the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, which focuses in research, from different perspectives, the changes of human functions, throughout life, and the inter-relations with activity and rehabilitation.
The areas of competence include biomechanics, motion control and learning, exercise physiology, particularly in the context of sports, psychosocial rehabilitation, neurocognitive rehabilitation, ageing and mental health, social innovation, community intervention and occupational health and health promotion.
