Management Applied Research Unit (UNIAG)
The mission of UNIAG is to promote and develop research in the field of business management, tourism and public policies, seeking to establish a strong link between theory and practice, as well as transfer of knowledge to society.
UNIAG results from the collaboration of researchers from 4 Polytechnic Institutes: Bragança, Cávado and Ave, Porto and Viana do Castelo - members of the Association of Polytechnics of Northern Portugal (APNOR). Its genesis is based on the identification of common areas of interest, using synergies to ensure that research resources reach critical mass, stimulating innovation and experimentation.
